    Screen removal & refitting

    Hi!

Not been on the forum for ages but had an e-mail notification telling me you were now a site sponsor.

Anyway, I've got a 96 B4 Passat (there's a readers ride thread on here somewhere) and my screen seems to be leaking from the top corner. What would you charge to remove and refit the screen properly? I think it's had issues in the past as there's a load of sealant bunged up in said corner. I'm hoping there's no rusty holes behind the screen!

Is this the kind of job you'd tackle and if so how much am I looking at?

    Hi Buckers
Yes i specialize in remove and refits so i would be able to help you out
I usually charge £72 all in but as a forum member ill do it £60 all in
What area are you in and when would you be looking at having the work carried out.

Nice one Mark, sounds good. I live near Weston Park, where's your premises? I work in Rugeley so could do a mobile job there although there's nowhere under cover if it rains.

I'd like to get it sorted as soon as I can really, I'm free Friday afternoons if you've got nothing on?

    Cheers

friday Pm will be fine if thats ok with you.. PM me your address and mobile no and ill call you friday afternoon to confirm mobile or if i need it at the yard, the yard is just off j14 m6 stafford near great bridgeford if we need to use it. there are chances that when removing glass it can break, its not something that happens often but i do have to warn you befrore hand so ill get a screen in just in case, last thing i want to do is leave you without a windscreen. I work on a mobile basis so only if its leathering it down with rain i will need it at the workshop.
    Cheers Mark
