I have cheap "Sunny" tyres on the golf... over 15k on them before they needed changing and no problems in the wet or snow or dry for that matter... from tyres online @ mytyres.co.uk: tyre dealer for cheap passenger, summer, winter tyres

i never really bothered or actual looked into tyres ive normally just had any old mixed branded clobber on myself but these cheap-uns have only done 5-6k miles tops and now they are pretty much bald and thats not me wheel spinning or handbrake turns at all just bog o standard driving which is shocking in my eyes

I used to spend over £250 per tyre when I had the MINI for awesome rubber but since I run a 35 profile I couldn't be bothered with the cost for these tyres... so I opted for the £69 per corner choice

well after googling and reveiwing most people are saying they are rubbish but most are from people who are hooning around tracks, as a family man now i wont be pushing it to its limits but just want somthing that is pretty good in wet and dry conditions (As you do lol)

I run Toyo T1R's, very good tyre with nice grip even in wet (not talking about track car).

Also running Falken FK452 that is another good tyre.

I never run ****e budget chinise tyres.

    Jon,
That's because your car hasn't got enough power to pull your eye lids open lol

I am pretty sure there is another thread like this about tyres,
For your car I would maybe go for kumhos, uniroyals which is a firm favourite with wrighty or cooper tyres are good, non of which are to expensive.

I thought so to but I couldn't find it...

Kumhos are quite good... like a cheaper Falken style tyre which are also good... only thing I've heard about uniroyals are that they give off more road noise...
