Thread: Engine Identification

    Engine Identification

I recently purchased a cabin with a garage. I've been trying to identify some older cars and parts that were in the garage. I know nothing about VW engines, but looking at pictures on the internet makes me think this is from a late 60s or early 70s bug. Does anyone know if I'm in the right ballpark? See the below pictures. I'm trying to determine if this is scrap steel or if it might have any value.
