You can use 280mm g60 front brake set up and maintain four stud using corrado discs.
You used to be able to buy engine mounts from just caddys for different engine swaps, not sure if they did a vr6 mount.

Corrado front brakes will bolt on using an adapter bracket. That's a straight forward swap. I think it's a bit more awkward for the rears. The rear axle needs to be drilled to accept the stub axle of the car the rear brakes are coming from. But once the stub axle is on the brakes will bolt up to it.

I have seen a full mk1 golf vr6 conversion kit but it wasn't cheap. Think it was in an issue of pvw

My golf runs an 02a box from a mk3. has been converted to use hydro clutch although i didnt do the work myself. Im in the process of getting a pedal box made to hold the clutch and brake master cylinders to tidy everything up.

I have seen other people use the seat box to keep the cable clutch. dont know much about it though.

thanks bud, would like to see ur caddy mate,i think am jus gonna go for the justcaddys, they do clutch conversions, not cheap but ready to go,eurowise kit seems straight forward but very expensive, don't know if I can get the engine mounts at a reasonable price lol done in a garage or something, hopefully it will all fall into place.
