    New Member from Rugeley-Staffs

    Hi Guys,

Newbie here from Staffs. I cheekily attend your recent meet up at Shire Horse pub. I was the quiet one with the Fabia VRS.

    A bit about me.

Names Nath, 25, and I live in Rugeley (used to be Birmingham) work in Derby. Been driving for 5 years now and within those 5 years I've had the following cars:

Rover Metro - Whilst learning to drive.
Vauxhall Corsa - Wrote off 6 months after passing my test.
VW Polo 6n2 - Had it for a few years then things started going wrong, i.e gearbox blew up twice, so got rid
Peugeot 107 - Bought for cheap motoring, only had it for just over a year.
Skoda Fabia VRS - Got bored with the above as it was too slow, go went out and bought this.

    Low down on the car.
Bought in January, as I was getting bored of the Peugeot 107, that had it's advantages of £20 road tax 1.0L engine but it was too slow. I did have in mind to do an engine swap for a 1.6 vts as it's a snug fit. . But by the time I thought about costs, i.e actually getting it done/telling the DVLA/Insurance I might as well just get a quicker car. So I had a nosey around, but the Skoda just took my fancy. Took it for a test drive and fell in love. How can you not with a 7 speed auto box. So made arrangemtns part ex'd my 107 in for it and in the end paid £9k.

    Skoda Fabia VRS
    1.4 TSI (180bhp - as standard)
    7speed DSG
    17" Gigaro Alloy Wheels
    Corrida Red.

Extras that came with the car:

    Reverse Sensors
    Cruise Control
    MFSW
    iPod Connectivity.
Originally came with chrome grill and clear headlights but I managed to swindle the black grill and black headlights to match everything else.

    Plans (Once warrenty is up):

    > lowering it 30mm all round
    > re-mapped stage 1 - 215bhp.
    > Blow off adapter (louder dump valve)
    > Possibly think about lightly tinting the rear lights just to break the red up a bit.

    Photos:

Hope you like, and questions go ahead and ask.

Thanks Jon. Which was your motor? Was a good meet!

Hey swordstoke, fancy seeing you here haha. I love your Octy. My mate (who parked in the middle of us) was commenting on how Skoda have got the words "OCTAVIA" in the headlights and said I should do that haha.

Howdy, loving the little VRs. Was totally unaware they were packing the same firepower as the Polo GTi! Great looking motor matey
