    Newish member Keith

    Hi guys/gals.

Now I was a member on the old forum so I've had to sign up again for this new one. My car details are in my signature I wish alot of member would use this method. Please forgive me if they do but I'm on 18 VW forums and I'm a mod on 2 of them and not many do that, I haven't had a chance to browse alot of threads yet.

My name is Keith as you will guess the the username. I'm 55 years young and I'm the senior motor vehicle technician at Stoke on Trent College where I've been for the last 32 years. I had a new Golf GTD back in January 2010 so that where the interest in VW's comes from now. My father had a VW camper and he had it for 21 years. After he died I was stuck for a motor so I used it for 4 years. Then I had an 1985 Escort XR3i I had that for 6 years. The next one was a 1993 Rover 216 GTi that I had for 16 years. I've been thinking about another car for a few years but nothing took my fancy. Then came along the scrappage scheme on new cars. I would never have a new car because you loose so much initially. But where else would you get two grand for a 17 year old Rover?

Sorry to bore you with these details but thats what intro's are for.

Update: I've just had a browse around and as I said virtually no one puts their car spec in their signature.

    Welcome again

We have another way of showing what vehicle you drive by using this feature HERE. By inserting your vehicle details here it will then bring up an icon under your avatar giving people chance to see what you drive

I don't see a link in that page to add the pics?

Ok I've added some pics. The vehicle class doesn't lists every body type but Hatchback.

that's down to it being an American modification for the forum... but I wouldn't bother with that part unless you really wanted to

not sure how or why you've inserted your photos into the description part though? instead of attaching the images using the drop down tabs?
