    Exhaust on my tdi

    I'm on aboutbgettin a sported exhaust from hot hatch corner sported before I get one I am checking would it make much difference in sound to my tdi ?if not then pointless me buyin one ?

    Don't think it would make much difference... cat-back system would be better. maybe a trip to Silver-systems in Leek and see how much he will charge.

    You'll hear a massive difference then and he can hide the tail pipe for stealthness

    HHC sell universal bolt on exhaust back boxes don't they?

    Yeah I was on about just a back box , I hadone from there for my old car and it sounded lovely but it was petrol see and I havespoke to a guy at work and he said he doesn't think just the back box wouldnmake much either so thought I would ask on here

    You'd need a full system to get a sound difference I've got a miltek on my tdi (turbo back) sounds good for a diesel, exhaust note is almost like a petrol turbo under load

    I wouldn't bother unless you are going for a decent system.

    The cheapest option might be to get a quality one made up from a smaller company. Biscuit mentioned some place that makes good quality custom exhausts near Alfa Tyres in Fenton. I've been meaning to go down and discuss commissioning some DPF removal pipes for models not yet available (A4/A6 and transporters).

    Any details Biscuit?? If you read this post up your info. (I'll try and remember to ask him in the morning
