    .:Diamond's 225 Quattro

Hey guys, just thought I'd make a quick write up of the TT, I traded in the golf last august for it and fell in love! Here is the spec as I had it:
    225 quattro
    Full Leather
    Bose sound system
    70k miles
    Raven Black

No mods, just 2 owners from new (first owner only had it a couple of months, next one had it over 11 years!)

here's a few pics pic standard

I then started what was to become some serious spending!

Quick detail to get rid of 12 years of detailing-neglect!

The mods then carried out were a neuspeed P-Flow induction kit and a forge 008 recirculation valve

Next up was a map! After a few teething issues, we managed 263.67bhp and 286.64lb-ft (which for a stage 1 is epic!)

Which required some extra stopping power and handling! (pussied out and just bought springs haha, but let's not dwell on that!)

And in case you're wondering, the purple carpet isn't a headlining or anything daft like that! :P

Next up was an LCR splitter.. unoriginal I know but let's face it, they suit everything!

That was it up until the start of January 2013.. when I unfortunately hit a dog at 90mph... The damage was relatively light but cost a fair amount of money and time to put right, total replaced was a new bumper, slam panel, radiator, air con radiator, rad piping, grilles, belly pan and a NS arch lining... this was a bad time to say the least!

And here's how it stands now!

Next on the mod list is wheels, exhaust, stage 2 map (or possibly big turbo conversion), coil pack upgrade (which if anyone has any input I'd be very grateful!) and uprated dog bone (ironically!)

Cheers for looking, and if anyone has any ideas then throw them my way! (Porsche riviera blue vinyl wrap is also on the cards by the way)

Forgot to add that I've done a fair amount of colour matching and pissing around under the bonnet for a sort of OEM+ look

Please dont quote me on this and please research it but iv heard the 2.0 turbo coilpacks are a common mod for the 1.8t, apparently you need to space them out? Google it! (THATS MY INPUT) hahaha

    Re: .:Diamond's 225 Quattro

Haha, cheers pal, Yeah the 2.0t coils are meant to be a significant improvement over the 1.8t ones and require spacing 1mm and bolting down (they are currently push fit), that's the route I'm thinking at the moment but I'm just curious if there are any upgrade direct replacement coilpacks - ecs make some but as far as I can tell (from what I gather from their product description at least) is that they're the same, but red... and cost £85 haha... which doesn't inspire much confidence for me to be honest!

"Add a some style to your engine bay with these Genuine VAG ignition coils. Includes a set of 4 coils to fix your mis-fire problems and add some color to your engine bay in one easy step."

Doesn't exactly seem worth the money when that's all they can come up with in the description!
