    Todds Bora

Im Todd, brought the Bora the other week, came to my first meet in it at the gambles to say hi. Im going to mod the bora (might wait till after winter yet).
Its a 1.9tdi (115 6speed) 95000 on clock. Full history at vw up to 75,000 and then recepts from garages after that.
The list of mods im on about getting, ideas and opinions are wanted Thanks.
    - Coilovers
    - Wheels but stuck.. bbs lm or ch reps?
    - Press plates
    - HID headlights, reverse, number plate, interior bulbs to match.
    - Then remove/smooth bump strips on bumpers and doors.

unsure yet. 3sdm 0.05 look awsome but not as good on the pocket. + ive heard its abit of a ball ache lowering boras as the arb rubs/knocks on the drive shafts if you go lower than 40mm on front. Seen a set of adjustable droplinks but unsure if that will cure the problem :/

Cheers nice meet you too, i'll try get down the next meet!

Well which ever i go im defo going staggered 8j/9j
taking the arb off, dont like the sound off that lol must be there for a reason, but is it a hard job to remove?
the adjustable droplinks are only like 30-40quid so i'll prob try them first if they dont work then prob take your advice and bin the arb!

    Re: Todds Bora

    yeah defo go staggered

and nah there 2 bolts each side to undo then i have always cut the arb in half job done in the bin lol, there loads of people on ed38 and ukmk4`s that do the same its only really there to keep the car stable but soon as its lowered there tight and control spot on so there not really needed, but the adjustable drop link should do the trick if not theres no harm done if you do remove it
