    Tweak the Beast (MKIV)

Iv decided to 'tweak the beast' as to speak - Im currently waiting to get my car back from the body shop as i had a smash in the golf thanks to some w**k parking by a lorry driver. Had the car for just over a year and haven't really done much to it. But since having a decent pay out from the insurer iv decided to start the slippery slope of modding my car! So here it goes......

This is how i had the car minus the dirt!

the only thing i had done was put some team dynamic wheels on and bout a set of genuine mudflaps which were a bit of a nightmare to find.

I then did the necessary and dropped it on Weitech GT coilies which were slammed front and back until Madmanmart give us a hand and lifted the front for a better stance. i also bought a set of wind deflectors.

I then purchased a bonnet bra from Ultimate dubs and slapped it on, didn't leave it on very long haha!!

After that i took the rear badges off to tide the back, was a nightmare getting all the adhesive off but got there in the end.

but i then put them back on haha... you'll probably noticed i get bored quickly and keep changing bits.

I then decided to get a set of original avus II alloys and sell my team dynamics. really like the standard wheels but they are a little too small. Should of purchased a set of long beach but didn't fancy paying an arm and leg for them. Got a decent packet from the wheels and got a bargain whith the Avus 2's thanks to Old No.7'

And that's pretty much how the car was for a few months until..................

Brilliant way to end a rainy Monday night!!!

Although the damage wasn't that bad the insurance company wrote it off so i bought it back...

Needed a new bonnet, bumper, splitter, headlights and other bits n bobs.

think it looked pretty mean withought the front bumper and headlights haha, not very practical though.

got a new bonnet and front end, notice anything wrong????

    Re: Tweak the Beast (MKIV)

Purchased a set of headlights from a 4 motion and grill again from local vdub supplier madmanmart.
Front splitter is also on its way.

Car is well on its way to full health just need a bit of a paint job and some work done the the body then shell be good to go......

As iv got notes left thought id get some new rims and rubber, got a bargain with these BBS CH reps with full size spare ' which is nice' thanks to rwoody29. thanks for the deal dude.

this is how they are lookin without any spaces, bit of a jump from the 15' to the 18' haha.
Still covered in lube - Gonna look tidy after a good clean!!!
