Thread: Scirocco

    Scirocco

    Hello,

Just signed up so thought I'd pop a few details of my car to date up.

Got her in January 2009 and these are a few pictures of the things done so far:-

When I first picked her up:-

Then after much uming and ahing over which springs to go for I decided on the Eibach springs for lowering my 1.4.

The springs were supplied and fitted by Midland VW who were also kind enough to let me take a few pictures:-

Wonder how much these will cost when they eventually need replacing?

In December I had my car REVO'd - the difference is amazing over stock

After a while I took my car to be dyno'd at Midland VW. The car was run 3 times on the REVO 98 setting and produced a highest of 208.6hp and 229.3lbft and was also run once on the REVO stock setting where it produced 173.3hp and 188.4lbft.

Changed the gear knob for a golf ball one (I know some people wont like this as it's not a golf but I liked the feel of it more than the stock knob and I also liked the fact it was a little higher than the stock knob)

I also fitted the metal pedal set and a metal footrest cover:-

Quick picture of a little interior 'fun' mod I did.

A picture of the prototype ITG 1.4 intake kit fitted to my car at GTi Inters 2010:-

Graphs for the prototype ITG induction kit:-

Pictures of the final production version of the ITG intake:-

Excuse the pictures and the state of the car's interior!

Recently I've had the wheels refurbished in matt black, a full alignment and set up session done and a new exhaust. Will get some details of these up shortly.

    Deacon
