Thread: Jenson Button

  1. #1

    Jenson Button

After this weekends win and his performance overall this season I feel its a shame he cannot go on to win the title.... I think the big teams out there should look to place him into the No.1 drivers spot for next season now...

    Thoughts?

He was head and shoulders (see what I did there) above Lewis all season pretty much.

    Love that picture!

After this years performances I would like to think he's done enough to be regarded as the No.1 driver at Maclaren now. No-one comes close in the wet, and his ablility to save his tyres is immense.

Hamilton is raw but erratic. He needs to sort himself out quickly or he'll be left behind again.

Michael Schumacher is 42 and he still has it.... Jenson Button is 31.... I can see him going from strength to strength... He's level headed under pressure and has the skill...

Plus the main reason he only signed a 4 yr deal is so he can sign for Ferrari when their main driver's contract is up....

but would it not have made sence for him to go to ferrari now while hes in his prime???? tbf if schumacher had a better car i reckon he would be in the top 4 easy but in sport terms hes an old man now

That won't be an issue. He does triathlons. Probably the fittest driver out there.
