You need to sort out a Staffs VW day out up there - I'd go and the Mrs is up for it too.

    Re: Snowboarding...

Went to Tamworth last year and wasn't very impressed, loads of what can only be described as good sized pieces of grit in the snow (looked like it had been regroomed many many times) and my board had gouges in the base when i finished so i had to get the P tex out.

Yeah we groom it in the morning afternoon and evening and then at night the snow gets put back where it should be after it gets moved around so much. The snow is pretty good there really put I just play on the kicker and rails lol. I hate Chill Factore. The snow is just crap. It's like sugar and they never groom it. If we got some people interested I could always see if I can get you on for free or a discounted price. I would have to speak to my boss

Might of just been a bad day then, only normally go Manchester because my mate lives in city so it's the only real option for us to meet up at.

I find chill factore icy at any time other than first thing.

Can't beat real snow on the mountains though not at a level myself though where I'm hitting jumps and things yet though. still quite new to it all.
