    6n2- What to look for

The Polo has found its way to a new home (the enfeebled eldest couldn't cope without PAS) and we're hot on the trail of a 6n2 Polo. I'm aware that gearboxes can be an issue in this and 6ns but I was wondering if there were any other issues to look out for?

pedel box, bit of a job to sort out with out going to a garage! but cheap enough as a pedel box only set me back like £20 quid but too a while fit it as me and my dad could only have time on a sat afternoon and a sunday!

Mudflaps always hide some nasty holes usually, get them removed asap and make sure nothing is behind them..

Seller too vague to satisfy the caution so its a pass on that one. I'd have been a bit miffed if i'd have gone to Chester solely for the motor.

Electric windows are a common fault and as you say the ABS, gearbox are very weak as well known.

Cheers dude, gave the box a good working and felt okay although the 999 feels a bit gutless compared with the 1043. Found a couple of Lupos to look at too

After several weeks i'm getting to the end of my tether. Numerous pigs and hounds, 'good condition' cars apparently used to house a pack of wet dogs, bangers and sensor failures. All for mega bucks too, really pee'ing me off
