Hello,
I'm having a discussion with another photographer. on another message board. he seems very arrogant in that he is correct, I on the other hand being married for 32 years, know I am often not correct. The question arose over a landscape image at the beach of the sea and some rocks etc. without making this too long he contends that the eye is always drawn to the light in an image, I on the other hand say it is drawn to the highest contrast. (in this situation given the photo, he seems to be saying the lightest area of a photo. Not my image so I can't bring it here as an example. . so question is... is the eye drawn to the lightest area of a photo or the area of highest contrast? opinions? science to back it up etc?
Thanks

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
