    trip to italy...

    as most of you all know i was lucky enough to get away to italy, here are my fav pictures and there is a lot of them so it may take a while to load..... Italy has been one of the best places ive managed to see will defo be going again hopefully to lake garda and will get to go to milan modena and a few more northern places...

    we stayed in an apartment about 5km from the city of volterra which was used as inspiration and some of the filming of twilight the new moon...

    the views



    and here are just loads of pictures i managed to get...

















    we managed to go to vinci the home town of the famous leonardo de vinci and went to the museum dedicated to him.
    although it said no pictures i managed to sneek a few....

    de vinci museum continued...














    these family emblems are everywhere they belong to the madichi who many many years ago were the people who bankrolled everything and everybody all the famous artists inventors they even lend money to the vatican many members of the family were massivley powerful some even rose to the dizzy hights of pope, there are family properties all over tuscany, one in volterra which was a medevil fort has been converted into a state prison.

    we had no wifi shame really as it would have been good to google stuff and use the translater but we were in the middle of nowhere but hopefully next time we will be in lake garder area and will be able to go milan modena imola and venice
