Hi guys
Mojo is depositing a bit of oil on her boot and I was wondering what would you do
Replace the stem seals or rebuild the engine and how much do I think either would cost roughly

I have had the bottom end of the 1.9 done and will be putting it in my cabby.
donor engine.....................£140
re-bored and honed...........£60
polished crank...................£25
New piston heads...............£360
bearings...........................£60
gaskets and seals...............£50
oil pump...........................£90
Taken two and a half years to get together, prepare and will rebuild in the spring. To have the head reconditioned will be £160 + another £250 for new cam, gaskets, seals and lifters. It is a lot I know but the result is a new engine that will last years.
The alternative is drop on a recon engine which will be cheaper no doubt, but you only see the outside and have to accept the word of the seller that it is in good order.
