right people doing my headlining in the polo black
the pillars and sunvisors ect in my car will be gettin flocked black
so seeing what people rekon would go best with that
was just goin to get some black fabric or suede to do the roof lining

    Re: headlining

Just make sure the flocking is UV stable, as it turns blue/purple in the sun, I'd get it all wrapped in alcantara, just make sure its the genuine stuff and not cheap fake stuff as it will also turn purple in the sun

You can spray the headlining, grab handles and sunvisors black. Mart has done this in his GTI CC.

There are a couple of examples on ED38 if you search.

the headlining can be done in matt black paint but if you ruin it then you will have to have it wrapped i agree with pobsey with the alacantara trim

    Re: headlining

yeah did think spraying it but heard a few people say it cracks and flakes so will have a look at places to get alcantra from and do it that way, just think it will be nice contrast with the flocking
