    Is this worth 2.5k?

I spotted this at a blokes house the other day and asked if it was for sale. He said it's funny you should say that, very weird, I'm sticking it on eBay tomorrow. I said don't both I'll have it. And the Mrs stepped in and stopped me.

He's selling it for 2.5k. I think I could get it for 2k cash. 2.2 tops.

I worked on the Mrs over the weekend and she's said I can have it providing I get rid of the MR2 and Porsche (she said that when I got both the MR2 and the Porsche haha - so this will be an addition not a replacement but don't tell her that!).

It's a proper off-road jobby by the looks of it. I know nowt about it but don't mind jumping in the deep end with anything at all in life. This included.

It's got a 3.5 V8 Rover engine init (what they use / used in the Range Rovers apparently) and it's been raised and whatnot.

Other than a submarine style airbox / intake thing I can't see a problem with this getting over anything. Deep water might be a problem without the submarine thing.

I know it aint a Dub, but Beaver's getting his Amarok and I want to go off roading with him. And while his aint off-roaded up (I think he's seeing the warranty out before he replaces too many parts - inc off road suspension etc etc) we can both go in this and practise a bit so when his is ready he aint rolling it etc.

Pics hopefully attached okay to the post. IMG_1385.JPGIMG_1384.JPGIMG_1386.JPGIMG_1387.JPGIMG_1388.JPG

Beavers not going to take the Amarok off road.... it'll get dirty and scratched unless you call off-road onto the kerb

Other than the missing snorkel and the full roll cage it looks the part.... if your serious on taking it off-roading then a full cage is best....

Hae a word with Alec on here as he is selling his landy/RR and knows about this kind of stuff

Its a Mihindra.....worth about 50p mate. Made in India and are just ****e and i mean proper ****e. The Rover V8 makes it worth about 75p actually. Dont waste your money. If you want a off road toy get over to GotMud.com and get a cheap Disco 2.5 TDi chuck £1000 at it on off road bits and bobs and you will have a good ride.

There are a couple here, minimum 2.5k - landrover | eBay

    Are they different ones?

    Re: Is this worth 2.5k?

Its must be quiet cos me a Chris left....lol. If you want something without a roof have a look at Suzuki SJ's or Vitaras. Trust me, with a few mods they are as good as a LandRover without the costs etc....or a Jimny. Defenders are the best but can cost a fortune as they rust like buggery so a lot of remedial work is needed before going off road. I do know of a well prepared defender pick up that might be up for sale but more like 3.5k as its been properly rebuilt with custom fabricated parts etc.

    Some links for you mate
