    smoothed tailgate

    hi guys, just wondering about your opinons on a smoothed tail gate on mk2 golfs. i have a smoothed tailgate and original tailgate but dont know which one to fit ?

    for me a smooth tail gate should be de-locked but retain the badge rather than the other way around

    Yeah depends how smooth. I'd say wiper and maybe plinth removed, but number plate recess filled in will look like something out of revs/max power circa '98

    you have to upload the photo to the likes of photobucket, lmg shack and copy the [img] code over for us to see the picture dude.

    I like the black one... numberplate looks good with the recess in the bumper
