    problem roads

The northbound carriageway of the A34 has been closed between Yarlet Lane and the B5026 Eccleshall Road.

The B5051 Breach Road, between Broad Lane and Woodside Avenue, is also closed.

The A53 Leek road has reopened and is "just passable", according to police, after it was earlier blocked between Clay Lake road and School Lane at Longsdon.
