    Done a deal today, traded in my Gti for something else, too many things kept going wrong so took the decision to get shut

    Won't this be full of issues as well though with it being nearly 5 yrs old?

    Ive had many a Toyota and i worked for them for 20 years so i know they are reasonably realiable and to be honest the Golf has been the worst car ive had with things going wrong, broke down the 1st night i had it

    Yeah it's the biggest gamble with second hand cars really as we never know how they've been treated beforehand

    Had a few issues with mine but it looks like its happy now!

    Don't forget to post some pics up when you get it...

    I just thought it was time now that errors had started being recorded in the power steering module, if that failed im looking at a bill for at least 1k
