SEAT. VW reliability, Better than the last car I had. Needed something bigger, more comfortable and a bit quicker

Re: Why did you choose a VW

Anything I buy has to be either Japanese or German..nothing else is any good. Unfortunately the Japs aren't quite up to the Germans when it comes to diesels so it had to be a vag.

Looked at Golf's but mk3's are all rotting away and mk4's are all 4 door apart from the quick ones (too much £££). Ended up with something with a Golf engine and 3 doors but without the price tag...

Anything other that German or Jap is not worth a light, and Jap cars have too expensive parts.

VW Because their cheap to run, cheap parts, easy to fix ect.

Been into VW for about 30 odd years now cos my Dad used to work for VAG Finance so always had VW for his company cars. Used to spend hours down at Premier in Leek in the 80's when it was the only VW dealer around. Loved sitting in brand new Mk2 16v's in the showroom.

Fell in love with the Mk1 Golf...dunno why, just love the shape. Anyway, it grew from there when I bought a mk1 back in 1998

needed a Diesel car but with performance and the Mk4 gt tdi pd150 golf was perfect
What I dont understand is people who buy fast cars, but then watch their MPG all the time - If your going to have a fast car like that, then you wanna be able to drive it fast and not worry about MPG.
