    Abit of help please importing a VW

    I've now started looking a G60 golfs

    But I was thinking is it better to buy one in England of possible import one over form german or some where?

    But how do I go about with the parper and in-port TAX
    Has anyone done this befor or know how to do it

    You don't have to pay import tax if it's imported from the EU.

    Just drive it over and register it here

    I think I will be able to get a better deal and a better car
    And i would keep the german regs because they look better

    If the car is here for over 12 months then it must be registered here.

    Didn't read the guide but don't ze Germans keep their reg numbers? Do you get special import plates or something?

    I have mates that did it the dodgy way lol.

    The olny thing the lupo 20vt is time but a g60 is a classic straight away

    I will try to do the lupo one day
