    MOT failed...

    .. on a blody split outer CV gaitor! God damn it. That's gonna be a right pain in the **** to sort out. Still, it could be worse. And he flew the emissions test

    Too true Wrighty, for a car 20+ years in age that appears to have had v.v. little done to the bodywork and underside I could say I was most impressed. Just wish it was something a little more straight forward to fix as i've not had the Golf for my commute for over a week now.

    yeah for an old car its got no major rot issues and the emissions are sound mate a cv boot is minor imo

    Well the boot is on and she's booked back in for half four. Big thanks to nosecity and his tennacity in the face of a b4stard of a hub-bolt!
