    Possible headgasket. 2.0 Bora

Hey, giving the car a clean this morning, I thought IDE check oil levels.. Oil was good.

lifting the oil filler cap a thick mayonnaise style gunk, a good amount but no as bad as some I looked up on Internet.

soot blowing from exhaust and when medium warm water blows from exhaust.

i brought this 2days ago and has been regularly serviced but not driven a massive amount of miles 88000.

any help would be great as I'm bricking this!,
    thanks

The mayo under the oil cap could be just down to the car only being driven for short journeys so it doesn't get up to temp, check the expansion tank for oil in the coolant. If there is no sign you could always get a 'sniffer' test done on the coolant to check for exhaust gasses being present which would show if there is a leak.

Personally I'd change the oil, clean up the gunk as best as possible and keep an eye on the levels. A good run wouldn't hurt either
