Discuss Wtf beeping oil light in the Engine at Staffs-VW; Ok guys I now my golfs got some issues but on the way to work the oil light started flashing and beeping at me now I've not had this issue ...

    Ok guys I now my golfs got some issues but on the way to work the oil light started flashing and beeping at me now I've not had this issue before but I've had my oil light permanently on but I change the sensor and that fixed the problem any 1 know what the crack is

    Do you think it might be te oils sensor as my rev counter was bouncing round the clock at the same time

    its a mk3 vw cabriolet ive cleaned off the sensors and made sure the wires were on tight cause when they light came on the ref counter was haveing a fit so think it might have been that also dont think the back box disconnecting itself from the center pipe didnt help lol

    Check for blocked pick up pipe. Easiest thing to do first is test the oil prssure with a pressure tester.
    If the hammer don't fix it you've got an electrical problem.
