    MAF Fault

    Hi All

    Just had to be brought home by the RAC as my car has broken down, plugged it in and is showing a fault with the MAF sensor with code G70 P0102 any body got any ideas how to fix this? as i dont realy fancy forking out £120 for a new one

    fit a genuine as the aftermarket ones available aint much cop

    cheers luckily for me next door is breaking a mk4 gti same as mine so is going give me the maf i need

    You may need to clean the MAF. Use an electronics cleaner and compressed air, do not use carburetor or brake cleaners, they're to harsh and will damage the MAF. CRC makes a good electronics cleaner, or something comprable.

    i ended up going to euo got meself a genuine MAF for bout 60 sheets but thanks for the help guys

    Yer mate u can not be eurocarparts at the mo for prices i had to buy the other week £67 quid plus the old unit returned
    black bora 2003 1.8t/007 forge dv/n249 bypass/blue silicone hose/tubroreves extra large smic/remap
