    lupo sdi 1.7 heater motor

    was wondering why my heater only has 2 speeds numbers 1,2 dont work put it on 3 n 4 it works fine any ideas ??

    you need a new heater resistor mate. common problem. they are all the same on lupos,golfs,polo,beetles so probably worth popping into to breakers yard to get one for a couple of quid or if you have the time and tools, remove the resistor pack, and replace the themal fuse with a new one from maplins for about 8p. They are located behind the glovebox
