    Rear demister

Ive got at least 4 broken tracks on the rear screen. I know you can get repair kits for this but has anyone had any experience with these kits and are they worth it?? Also ive noticed that when the demister is on it interfers with the radio reception could this be down to the broken tracks???

Well Solder Paint has been available for year though I've never tried it on a rear screen. Yes you will loose reception on the radio as part of the circuit is broken.

I would think your best bet would be to find a replacement rear screen at a breakers.

Thats the other option. Found a kit at halfrauds for about £12 "Granville Rear Heater Repair" this seems to be the one that keeps popping up.

It's got to be worth a punt at £11.49, it is cheaper than a new rear screen or even the insurance excess should an unfortunate accident occur
