    Module

Hi new here and need a bit of advice recently bought a 2007/8 Tiguan 2.0 Tdi 4 motion love the car but just one problem I occasionally get the steering wheel light come on in the clocks so I plugged my code reader in and it says Seering wheel module intermittent fault.Ok I know where it is and don't think it's much of a job to fit But does it need coding to the car. Also what are your opinions on the modules on EBay and the likes or can anyone recommend a decent parts supplier.
Hi once again and thanks for any help.
    John

I'd give one of our sponsors a call to see what they say -

Audi, VW, SEAT, Skoda Specialist Garage in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire - TQC

    or

VW Specialists > PSI Tuning - VW Audi Specialists Stoke On Trent / Cheshire

    Re: Module

Quick update as recommended took the Tiguan to Tqc in Fenton and could not be more pleased THE best garage experience I've ever had cracking bloke (Ian) when his computer did not pin point the problem he stripped the steering wheel and facials off and still the problem was there. Now this is where experience with CARS and NOT computers comes into play after stripping the control module off he was not convinced it was the problem then he noticed one of the wiring looms was not routed very well ( tight and pulling) so he re- routed the loom put it all back together and hey presto in 2 days the fault has not appeared I won't say what he charged but I was more than pleased ( enough to take the Mrs out for lunch)I would absolutely recommend these guys I am not in any way affiliated to them just a very pleased customer.
