Thread: Windscreen cleaning

    Windscreen cleaning

What do you use to give you a clear screen?

Any tried and tested methods out there?

A decent glass cleaner and the right towel works wonders - something like Auto Finesse Crystal and a Dodo Mint Merkin Glass Towel.

Sometimes, a glass polish is needed (with abrasives) if you have month old dead insects etc. I have some bulk valeting product, which I can get pretty cost effectively if anyone needs any - its VERY effective at deep cleansing glass and removing any bonded crap.

Don't forget you can clay glass too, which sometimes helps.

for the inside you cant beat kitchen roll and a bit of water, the dirt flies off and leaves no marks

I normally use the wipers and washer fluid when it has any in the bottle.
