Yikes! what a waste of lovely peanut butter

I've always found that using a heat gun on older black vdub bumpers works well.

Hair spray works as back to black.

Peanut butter is also good for getting white wax marks off plastic trim due to the oil in it. Only smooth though.

You'd think the crunchy type would renovate it better though wouldn't you!

Best stuff I've found for plastic trim is meguires tyre gel... it really is the puppy's nuts. Any of you with black/dark cars tried dodo juice's puple haze? it's worth the money!!

(Black boot polish is fine on bumpers, won't come off on you'r clothes, trust me! Dyed my old seats in the mk5 black with boot polish lol, once it's dry it's there to stay!)

linseed oil is supposed to be good for black trim aswell. Has anybody tried the hot air gun method on greyed plastic, supposed to work a treat.
