Porsche Speedster 356 Replica (VW Beetle Chasis)

1963 Registered Porsche Speedster 356 Replica - VW Beetle Chasis (shortened).

    1800 Mint VW Beetle Engine

Carbon fibre shell with a flip/perl paint job (silver base that turns from gold and red to green and blue in the sun)

Basebox, 2 6x9's, 10 disc multichanger, stereo with remote control, 600W amp, push button start, bumpers removed, lowered, really clean looking. Classic chrome trim. Porsche detailing and badges. Fire extinguisher near drivers door (petrol tanks are in the front of these carbon fibre bad boys!!! - so you never know! lol).

Worth 17k on a bad day 25 on a good.

Offers around 15k and it's yours. I'll sit on this for years I aint sticking it on eBay. I'd rather it go local. It's been in Staffordshire for a long long time now. I'd certainly want to see it, and the person who I bought it off still would too.

Come and see it. Though I'll upload pictures and if I dare one time when you're meeting near Trentham I think I may even pop out in it to a meet to you all.

Come with some history but I'll wait to get the original newspapers before I share that bit with you. I have some copies here from the early 80's but you can buy originals from historical-newspapers.com - I just aint skinned that fish yet.

Thought I'd put the feelers out more than anything.

Picked it up. Stored it. Been around the block in it once. I didn't want to keep polishing it and it getting dusty, and me repeating the process, for the sake of risking scratching it or getting microscratches. I should have done it when I first got it and then covered it well. But my first intentions were to clean it last summer. It just doesn't work like that though does it. lol. Now it's this summer, and it's still not done.

Sorry mate I didn't spot you had replied.

I'm selling as I need the Garage space, and to be honest, it's such a beauty that it needs somebody to take it to shows. A 1963 car with a great history. This very one was once owned by a famous car show presenters wife and she did a few rallies in it I think for charity, and she was followed by The Daily Telegraph in the 80's - we have articles to that effect showing this very car - same reg - she was on the log book two owners ago and sadly that has been lost - the articles did but we had copies and we've sent off to get the original newspapers, now in an archive. I'll let you see who owned it when you see the car.

I paid a thousands of pounds per month to the previous owner while they kept it in their possession, as I wanted the car so badly from the moment I saw it. The guy let me start it up, he shouldn't have done that, from then on he knew he was going to have to sell it me, I'm quite persistent. haha

So I ended up with it, and have driven it twice. I daren't take it out, bless. Its heritage is too precious to ruin by driving it IMO haha. I feel like I owe it a new owner. So it's for sale.

But and it's a big but. I HAVE to vet you! lol - I HAVE to see her often. And I HAVE to come to some shows with you with her. Bit of a double date thing. Perhaps more of a tripple date, but hey, spread the love an all tha'.
