    Bora S TDI

I've had this Bora for just under 11 months. It's been ultra reliable. Starts and drives superb.

    90 BHP non PD engine.

Current mileage is 128,663 and rising

I have also had the following work done:

    OSF wheel bearing
    NSF bottom ball joint replaced
    Both front window regulators changed
Front and rear discs and pads (Pagid)
    Brake fluid renewed
    30mm engine spacers fitted
    Shallow hybrid sump fitted
FK AK street coilovers with new top mounts and bearings
    New starter motor

Mechanically the engine is great. There is a very slight coolant loss issue. Been told it might be the temperature sensor. There is a new one in the glove box.

There are 2 keys but the fob hasn't been coded. I believe there is an issue with the convenience unit (CCU) because the drivers door won't activate central locking. The interior lights stay on when locked. Hasn't been a major problem for me. I just turn all the lights off and have disconnected the drivers door puddle light. I have a replacement CCU, just haven't found anyone to fit this. This has to be coded to ECU too.

Body wise she has a few dents and scratches but I didn't buy her for looks. It was the 700 miles to a tank that hooked me. Costs £65 to fill up making it awesome on diesel.

The car is still running the original gearbox so future owners need to bear this in mind.

The wheels are 18" BMW MV2's i think. With adapters to fit onto 5x100 hub.

Price is £1400. Car is in Swindon but I visit Crewe and Stoke regularly.

    Re: Bora S TDI

Car has developed a vibrating whilst braking over 40 mph. Therefore the car is now priced at £600. Car isn't driven regularly now so needs a new home.
