    Paint Repair

Ever since I had the Golf the passenger door has been a slightly different blue (royal as opposed to schwarz) to the rest of the car. Recently some utter pr!ck put several heavy scratches into the door going right through the paint/ undercoat.

Had a quote from Chipsaway of £334.80 for repair and colour match, sound about right?

You could get the door done in a body shop for less than that.

    Paint Repair

I used car care in stoke to get both sides of my old skyline sprayed for less than that.

    Excellent job.

Thats expensive! Chips away are expensive anyway! Go to a reputable bodyshop and they will be closer to 200 than 400!

Cheers folks, had no frame of reference and did almost book in until they quoted £130 plus vat for mop and polish. Though the demo revealed it would restore the paint it took him about a minute to do a large part of the bonnet! Will give Holdcroft a bell in the morning
