Had coils on the classic but it sat on the bump stops so couldn't really tell you haw it was
Had springs and sports suspension on the MINI... nice ride....
Coils on the caddy... shockingly harsh...
Springs on the golf just nice for all roundness...

I know Luke at Plush has air on his RS4 and according to a few poeple who have been out in it, no difference could be found compaired to the stock RS4....

The Caddy runs standard suspension so we have no problems on forest tracks (mountain biking) or when weighing in scrap or carrying all the stuff to shows - and all Jons stuff

Got springs on mine as didn't want it too low as I cross about a million speed bumps a day and I wanted to keep the ACC functionality. Ride is probably better on springs than stock so all good

I have recently put coil overs on my A3 and it's not harsh at all feels the same just handles slightly better. They are only fk street coil overs. £225 eBay special.
Only fitted for first time adjustment you never can tell how much springs will lower it. I know they seize up after time but honestly once they are set at the height you want when will you ever need to change it.
I am dead pleased with them

Running FK Highsport coilovers on the GTI with a nice firm but comfy ride.

Got uprated springs and shocks on the TDI with a couple of coils removed on the rear, pikey style.
