    fitting a stereo in a 1970 beetle

    was wondering how easy or hard is it to fitt a modern stereo into a 1970 bug 12 volt. i'm no auto electrition so ain't got a clue where to start

    Easy just need to find a permanent live and a ignition live from either the ignition switch or head light switch

    Will be easy peasy, I'm sorting my mates on his mk3 gti on Thursday if ya free pop round, like said before all ya new is a 12v and a switched 12v and its done ;

    I wished I could mate, work till weekend unless I can book day holiday short notice, but i don't think they will let me do that grrrr lol

    Will do, don't finish work till 10pm back home by10.20 pm but will let you know later bout 10.30pm bud cheers :-)

    Well I knew they would'nt let me take the day off, sorry m8 got Union meeting at 2.30pm with managers worse luck so can't get out of it, maybe have to arrange something with you sometime, if you fancy doing it

    Ill see what I can sort out with work and let you know need to get some speakers etc sorted as i'm redoing the whole interior on my bug anyway as its in need of sorting bit tired looking so I've ordered new door cards etc got to wait 10 days for them, changing colour to from dirty cream to black leather with green piping
