    Re: Speaker Upgrades

i upgraded all my speakers last year, first thing i tend to do when i perchase a car as i have a real love for Audio Equipment.

Skoda Octavia's audio equipment is dier and so to are the mounting points all of which have to be modified to take any good speakers.

currently running kenwood doors and tweeters - Kenwood KFC-S702P, listened to these at ultimate dubs in the kewood scirocco demo car, sound good and can take rated power well.

im into SPL more so then quality this is backed up by my music taste, most of which is drum and bass!

    Re: Speaker Upgrades

I had my car booked in Ice Beat the other week and he was sticking in Focals all-round. Though as I'm selling it now I unbooked until I get my other car.

But Focals he was banging on about and said they're mint and well underrated.

Very underrated.... they can cost a small fortune but simply for sound quality and performance they are top of the pile.....

for some reason most people just buy JBL/Kenwood/Alpine/Pioneer but I think this is mainly due to the cost and its what they know...

    Re: Speaker Upgrades

Will be interesting to see what the standard speakers sound like in the Amarok, might have to upgrade those if they are poor quality ones (you never know with it being a commercial vehicle???)
